Bear Necessities Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests with three private king bedrooms, a loft with two twin beds, and two full bathrooms. To comply with the Village of Angel Fire short-term rental regulations, the maximum occupancy is 8 guests.

Wildlife is one of the things guests love most about Bear Necessities Lodge. While sightings are never guaranteed, mule deer visit the property almost daily, and elk, wild turkeys, rabbits, and hummingbirds are seen regularly throughout the warmer months. Black bears occasionally pass through the greenbelt behind the lodge, and lucky guests have even spotted coyotes and bobcats. We ask all guests to enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and never feed or approach wild animals.

During winter, the Village plows the roads, and our driveway is professionally plowed after approximately 4 inches of snowfall.
